Breaking Free is a creative writing and slam poetry group at the Petersburg Federal Corrections Complex. They perform slam poetry at events in the prison before hundreds of fellow inmates, staff members, and outside visitors.  New written poetry can be found here with fresh, raw content coming out weekly!
